Our Mission
The mission of the Pioneer Community Association is to preserve and maintain the historic Pioneer Center building for community use as a cultural arts and performance center, and a public meeting venue for use by the Wahkiakum County Library and the Town of Cathlamet.
Our center
Our beautiful center is a former church that was built in 1895. It is the most prominent landmark in Cathlamet. The uniquely designed church sits in the middle of town and its tall tower peeks above the rooftops. It is used for weddings, art shows, musical revues and other occasions, and is a common photo opportunity for tourists.
