The Cathlamet Pioneer Center recently got a thorough exterior cleaning, and the difference is hard to miss.
Evergreen Softwash and their crew worked their way around the historic building, carefully cleaning years of dirt and buildup from the exterior and giving the Center a much brighter, refreshed appearance. You can see some of that work in action via Facebook, shared by Evergreen Softwash during the cleaning.
Their work also extended a little farther than expected.
After finishing at the Center, Scott took some extra time to clean the nearby Old School Trail staircase as well. That unexpected bit of help gave us the perfect starting point for another project: refreshing the piano-key artwork painted along the steps.
Those familiar keys are now looking bright again, just in time for Bald Eagle Days. Take a look at the piano step restoration here.
We’re grateful to Evergreen Softwash for the care they gave the Pioneer Center and for the extra attention they showed to a small but much-loved piece of the surrounding grounds.
